About School of Radio Engineering and Cybernetics

The School was founded simultaneously with MIPT. A great emphasis is given to the study of Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, and also Business Management. Students study all aspects of contemporary information technologies, starting from the very design of a computing processor to the use of information communication networks and systems, various means of data processing and communications.

Sergei Garichev, Dean of the School of Radio Engineering and Cybernetics: «School of Radio Engineering and Cybernetics has provided highly-qualified training in Radio Engineering since 1952. Today the School offers Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes of study in Information and Computing Technologies, Radiotechnical Systems, and in Systems of Management or Control. One of the School’s distinguished features is a strong focus as on fundamental theoretical learning as well as on considerable experimental training».
