Goals and Mission

The first is select the most talented and creative promising students, the second is engage MIPT’s leading scientists and researchers in the educational process, the third is find an individual approach to every student and encourage their academic and professional development, and the forth is train students from the very beginning of their academic and professional career in the atmosphere of cross-disciplinary research conducted in the best R&D laboratories of the country. During the first three years of their study MIPT students study Physics spending on it the same number of academic hours as students in schools (faculties) of Physics of leading universities do. MIPT students study Mathematics as if it were their major discipline, and the English language is learnt here as intensively and profoundly as it is at a linguistic university. MIPT places a special emphasis on teaching IT skills to its students. We take good care of our students and encourage them to attend classes of Physical Training & Wellness and to lead a healthy way of life. We have the necessary facilities to make our students’ study and stay at MIPT most comfortable.
